Ronda Witter - "Run the Bases 4 ALS"

Hi, my name is Ronda Witter and I'm very excited to be named as an ALS Ambassador for "Run The Bases 4 ALS!" My sister, Angie, was diagnosed with ALS in October of 2015. She is a wife, a mother of a lovely 12-year-old, a sister and an Oncology nurse of 30 years. I've been running for six years now and have since taken up triathlons. In November of 2016, I became an Ironman and dedicated all of my training and that one special day just for Angie. I even did the ALS Roll at the finish line in memory of Jon "Blazeman" Blais. Angie and I used to train and run events together including: The Color Run, Warrior Dash, numerous 1/2 marathons, and local 5k's and 10k's. Running was her passion until ALS took that from her. Now just tackling daily tasks is a chore for her. My legs now run for her and all of the ALS Warriors out there. I'm happy to join Run4Buffalo in their mission of supporting all ALS Warriors!
